Yes, our carpets are made with premium-grade polypropylene, fire-resistant wool, and nylon, and are treated to meet key safety standards and regulations like UAE Fire Code, ASTM E648, ASTM E662 and Type 5 Certification. These carpets are usually low-pile and lightweight as well.
These carpets are exceptionally durable and hard-wearing, as they are designed for intense use. They can withstand exposure to the elements, constant and heavy foot traffic and various impacts too. Besides, they have a low-pile design with enhanced stain and matting resistance. Unlike regular carpets, they can last for longer time periods and require minimal upkeep.
Carpets for exhibitions come in 3 main types, which are broadloom (carpet rolls), needle-felt carpets and carpet tiles. These are commonly made out of Nylon, Polypropylene, Polyester and recycled materials and are available in both solid colors and printed/patterned designs. They come with pre-attached underlayments, but you can also get extra paddings from us if needed.
These carpets are installed with the help of double-sided adhesive tape or gaffer tape. Sometimes, additional staples or nails may also be used to secure them well. For extensive and large-scale events, we also design temporary plywood subfloors and the carpets are secured on top of them through heavy-duty adhesive systems. Start by thoroughly vacuuming the carpet, so as to get rid of all the dirt and buildup. Consider professional cleaning services in case of very big and/or delicate carpets. Once properly cleaned, leave the carpet in a well-ventilated space for 24 to 48 hours to dry fully. Afterwards, carefully roll it in such a way that the pile should face inwards and wrap it in muslin or cotton sheets, or acid-free papers. Secure it with a cotton rope or some other soft tie and place it in a dry and climate-controlled space, which must be free of humidity too. Never fold the carpeting and if it’s too big, consider using a plastic or cardboard storage tube inside.
